As Fibris Joint Stock Company, we produce fiberboard based on Arne Asplund's wet method, also known as the Swedish method.
The raw material we use for plate production is obtained from the forests of the Carpathian Foothills and the Solola Forest, which are among the cleanest areas in Europe. We strive to minimize the impact on the environment by using 90% of wood derived from forest maintenance cuts and residues from other wood processing plants.
Our production is carried out by the radical closure of water and sewage circuits which reduce the fresh water consumption from the Wiar River.
It is worth noting the implementation of solvent recovery technology from the fiberboard coating process, which has contributed to the reduction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to atmospheric air.
Thanks to Cattinair's dedusting dedusting system, we have reduced the amount of wood dust from technological processes. In our operations, we use biomass as a source of heat, which has allowed us to reduce by about 18% the amount of coal burned and thus significantly reduce the emission of gases and dusts into the air from the combustion process.
High responsibility for the environment has led us to start work on the implementation of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
In April of 2003 we received a certificate of origin control of SGS-COC-1369, which demonstrates that the products are made from wood from certified forests, ie those that are environmentally and environmentally friendly, respecting the environment. human rights and is economically viable.
