We develop very dynamically on every level of our business. Through continuous investment in the development and modernization of production, we strive to improve the quality of fiberboard produced.
Our investments are aimed primarily at the most demanding clients, and they are designed to produce the highest quality products while also taking care of the environment.
The production process is carried out with the radical closure of water and sewage circuits, which reduce the fresh water consumption from the Wiar River and limit the discharge of technological wastewater to a minimum.
In 2007, we completed the modernization of the OR-32 boiler co-financed by the European Union, which combined with the combined dedusting and combustion installation reduced the emission of wood dust from technological processes. In addition, we use biomass as a source of heat and this has enabled us to reduce the amount of coal burned and thus significantly reduce the emission of gases and dusts into the air from the combustion process.
As a result of our investments, we have reduced CO2 emissions by around 30% and dust by about 80%. Due to the increase in sales we launched another chipper, and this investment was born of a new production line.
In 2009, we launched the fully automated 3 hardboards production line, which doubles our hardboard production capacity.
Successive investment plans of our plant increase the efficiency of production by limiting individual consumption of electricity and heat as well as increasing the use of raw materials.
In the years 2013-2017 we have equipped the refining department in machines for the production of new products, cutting boards and for semi-automatic packaging. In addition, we have performed a general repair of the hydraulic press in the T2 line and started production of decorative wood chips.
For 2018/2019 we plan to open second line for the production of softboards.
With constant capacity development and new investments, we do not forget about the environment and actively participate in the development of the region.
